UPI: Boy passes gas on Mississippi weatherman, forecasts ‘farts’ and ‘toots’

A Mississippi meteorologist’s live report was interrupted by a young boy who passed gas on the weatherman before forecasting “farts” and “toots” in the area.

Patrick Ellis was delivering the weather forecast Saturday for WLBT-TV when a young boy ran into the camera frame.

“Are you sure?! Are you crazy sure?!” the boy asked as Ellis gave the weather.

“We’ve got a little bit of, uh, interesting things going on right now,” Ellis said.

The young boy ran over to Ellis and lifted a leg to mime the act of passing gas on the weatherman.

Ellis, somewhat flustered, asked if the boy wanted to deliver the weather forecast.

“Yeah, there are farts everywhere and toots, and they are crazy,” the boy said, right before being dragged off-screen by an adult.

Ellis explained in a Facebook live video with some colleagues that the boy, Houston, was the son of a local lawyer who was in the studio ahead of a weekly program at the station for residents to call in and ask legal advice.

Ellis said he would be happy to have Houston return to the studio to deliver another forecast.

“Houston is the true MVP and I’m happy the people of the world are realizing it. #NotAllHeroesWearCapes,” Ellis wrote on Facebook.
