Tomi Lahren scolds “unloving and intolerant left” for pressuring celebs into skipping Donald Trump’s inauguration

The Blaze commentator Tomi Lahren guested on “The O’Reilly Factor” on Tuesday to speak on the left-of-center boycott against opera singer Andrea Bocelli, who met with Donald Trump on Friday.

Amid the backlash, the Italian tenor backed out of performing at next month’s inauguration ceremony. In so doing, Bocelli joined an ever-growing list of artists (including marching bands) who have refused to perform.

Lahren credited the boycott to “the unloving and intolerant left.”

“The tolerance is really one-sided,” she explained to host Bill O’Reilly. “[They] seem to be pretty accepting when their narrative is pushed, but as soon as Kanye West ventures over to the other side, then that’s somehow unacceptable and he doesn’t hear the end of it.”

West also met with the president-elect in Trump Tower last week.

“Now the fact that [West] goes to Trump Tower and wants to reach out to our president-elect, that should be a moment that social justice warriors should relish in, because that’s unity, that’s what they would want,” Lahren said. “But of course not, because it’s President Trump.”

“There are still many Americans out there that fail to understand that Donald Trump will be our 45th president and that he will be inaugurated on Jan. 20,” she continued. “They haven’t even accepted that yet. If they can’t accept that, of course they’re not gonna accept entertainers going to perform at an inauguration. This should be an exciting moment for America.”
