H.R. McMaster Fires NSC Staffer For Being Too Breitbarty Even For Trump Administration

Islamofascists! Cultural Marxists! Globalists! Bronies!

National security adviser H.R. McMaster had to do a little housecleaning at the National Security Council recently, firing a wingnut named Rich Higgins after Higgins circulated a memo that sounds like it was copy-pasted from Breitbart comments and warning of a broad conspiracy, inside and outside the government, of dangerous forces trying to undermine Trump and sell out America to all its many enemies, but mostly Radical Islam.

Higgins’s memo describes supposed domestic and international threats to Trump’s presidency, including globalists, bankers, the “deep state,” and Islamists. The memo characterizes the Russia story as a plot to sabotage Trump’s nationalist agenda. It asserts that globalists and Islamists are seeking to destroy America. The memo also includes a set of recommendations, arguing that the problem constitutes a national-security priority.

Higgins, a former Defense Department official, wrote the memo in May, and was so proud of his work that he shared copies of it with members of the Trump campaign, who must also have thought it was a brilliant diagnosis of the threats to Real America, since it “began circulating among people outside the White House.” Higgins was asked to explain himself to the White House Council’s office the week before last, then let go on July 21. And H.R. was once again McMaster of his domain.

The Atlantic’s Rosie Gray was able to review much of the memo, and to “secure extracts for publication,” which translates roughly to “somebody in the White House let me have a partial copy while rolling their eyes and saying ‘Can you believe this shit?’” And Gray shares the cray-cray with us; here’s some of the loopier stuff:

Through the campaign, candidate Trump tapped into a deep vein of concern among many citizens that America is at risk and slipping away. Globalists and Islamists recognize that for their visions to succeed, America, both as an ideal and as a national and political identity, must be destroyed. ….Islamists ally with cultural Marxists because, as far back as the 1980s, they properly assessed that the left has a strong chance of reducing Western civilization to its benefit. Having co-opted post-modern narratives as critical points, Islamists will co-opt the movement in its entirety at some future point.

So you have your leftists working hand in hand with radical Islam, because of course if we don’t think all 1.5 billion Muslims are terrorists, we agree with terrorism, and you got your cultural Marxists (that’s code for Jews, you know) and your postmodernists, too, because few things can bring a nation to its knees like being forced to read Derrida, leaving America a mere Eco of its former self. (Remember Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s slogan, “YES, LACAN!”?)

There’s also a lot of agry-bargy about Maoist “political warfare” that seeks to form a “counter-state” that will bring down the nation from within, through “synchronized violent and non-violent actions,” probably through a combination of terrorist attacks and depicting happy gay couples on TV. It may seem nonviolent, but it’s definitely still warfare, just the cultural kind that “undermines the morale or offers to engage in discussions, as a adjunct to violence.” Yes, your blog comments are sapping and impurifying America’s precious bodily fluids.

For a document that claims to warn of the dangers of postmodernism, it sure sounds awfully postmodern at points:

Political warfare is warfare. Strategic information campaigns designed to delegitimize through disinformation arise out of non-violent lines of effort in political warfare regimes. They run on multiple lines of operation, support the larger non-violent line of effort, are coordinated with violent lines of effort, and execute political warfare agenda promoting cultural Marxist outcomes. They principally operate through narratives.

Translation: Stories are dangerous. Once THEY have convinced us that “family” or “religion” or “patriotism” can come in many configurations, we’ll be so weak that they won’t even need to bomb us in order for us to mindlessly accept Sharia law. Oh, but the violence is definitely happening, too, like all the terrorist attacks that happen every day. Or could, because THEY are everywhere. He doesn’t say anything about ordinary mass shootings, but it stands to reason that they’re merely a distraction, and get swept into the Cultural Marxist narrative to argue that Americans should disarm themselves (it’s a little scary how easy it is to churn this stuff out).

And now the big finish!

Because the left is aligned with Islamist organizations at local, national and international levels, recognition should be given to the fact that they seamlessly interoperate through coordinated synchronized interactive narratives…..These attacks narratives are pervasive, full spectrum and institutionalized at all levels. They operate in social media, television, the 24-hour news cycle in all media and are entrenched at the upper levels of the bureaucracies….

Political Warfare has been described as “propaganda in battledress.”

You got that? CNN, Hollywood, AND the federal bureaucracy are all part of a seamless Leftist-fascist plot to deploy narratives to attack America. And probably, if you see a narrative, report it to your local County Sheriff, the highest legal authority in the land.

It seems this kind of stuff has been Higgins’s stock in trade for quite a while; after the Pulse nightclub shooting he did an interview with Tucker Carlson’s Nationalist Sock-Hop explaining how the attack was made possible by Muslims “weaponizing political correctness,” and last September he catalogued in the Moonie Times all the huge gains Radical Islam has made since the 9/11 attack, even infiltrating our government and military to the extent that

U.S. presidential candidates from both political parties saying “the Islamic State is not Islamic” while U.S. and European patriotism is considered racism.

National Security officials are prohibited from developing a factual understanding of Islamic threat doctrines, preferring instead to depend upon 5th column Muslim Brotherhood cultural advisors.

He seems nice. Gray says Higgins had only been on the National Security Council “for a couple months,” and was an ally of Steve Bannon, who was himself booted from the council shortly after McMaster was appointed. The memo that got him fired, sources told Gray, was not related to Higgins’s actual job. He just wanted to make sure people in power saw it. Oh, and wouldn’t you know it, Higgins is also a fan of Frank Gaffney, the Islamophobic freak who thinks Barack Obama and Republican anti-tax extremist Grover Norquist are both pawns of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Oh, and then there’s this fun tidbit:

Several sources with knowledge of the events said they believed the memo made its way to Trump’s desk, a version others disputed.

We’d worry, except we’re fairly sure that even if Donald Trump saw it, his eyes glazed over at the big words. Unless someone explained it to him, we’re probably OK, but watch out for him warning you that narratives are coming to get your family.
