“Everything is coming back to Warren now”: Live analysis of the Democratic debate

Just when I thought we’d all agreed we were done talking Medicare for All, Mayor Pete went out and pushed the issue right back into the center. Buttigieg spent the past week going directly at Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren on health care – calling Medicare for All unworkable, name-checking the two in an ad boosting his own health plan, etc.

So the stage is set for another moderate vs. progressive interrupfest on health policy. Which I, personally am all here for – but are any voters? Can Buttigieg make a dent here without getting bogged down in the minutiae? Is another 40-minute debate over exactly how to expand health coverage really a path to shaking up the race?
